I am a 1986 graduate of Oregon State University. Over the years I have worked in many types of practices, from traditional veterinary hospitals to an inner city high volume low cost clinic to shelter practice. I have experience and confidence with most surgical procedures, love the challenges of internal medicine and enjoy client-patient interactions. I believe a relief veterinarian's role is to fit into the practice they are serving. I understand that there are many solutions for each problem and there is often no one right answer. My basic practice philosophy is to offer the best care available for the patient and then tailor that treatment to the client's expectations and resources.
On a more personal note, in my spare time I enjoy backpacking with my husband (who is a food animal veterinarian at CSU) and dogs, downhill skiing, road cycling, and gardening.
